Mark P. Finlay Interiors, LLC was established in 2009 under the same roof as MPF Architects. Led by Tina Anastasia, MPF Interiors works collaboratively with architects and clients of both residences and businesses. The team oversees the specifications and materials throughout construction as well as furnishings and final layers. Whether working with MPF Architects or on a stand-alone project, MPF Interiors combines function with an immaculate aesthetic that reflects the daily lifestyle and personal taste of each client. The MPFI team is comprised of a talented group of designers who bring a fresh perspective to each new commission in a cooperative process, resulting in truly magnificent spaces.

In her role as Director of Interior Design, Tina Anastasia has led the charge on dozens of outstanding projects on behalf the MPF brand. Native to Florida, Tina joined MPF Interiors in 2013 and was made Partner at the start of 2018. The combination of her extreme work ethic, expertise and tremendous style has resulted in remarkable products all over New England and around the country. She has executed gorgeous and unique designs in a variety of residential styles and several commercial organizations. Her mix of function and elegance is the key to realizing her clients’ vision and ensures their resounding delight upon project completion.

    Partner & Director of Interior Design

    Tina Anastasia is responsible for overseeing all residential and commercial interior design projects.

    Prior to moving to Connecticut, Tina owned and operated a successful architectural and interior design firm for 20 years in Florida. Having received two separate degrees - one in Interior Design and the other in Building Construction Technology in Architecture - Tina is able to incorporate her knowledge of the architectural process to master the art of interior design. She also holds a certification from the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and is a registered and licensed Interior Designer in both Florida and Connecticut. Additionally. Tina is the current president elect for the American Society of Interior Design.

    Having received many accolades and awards, Tina’s diverse and stylish portfolio has been published in numerous design magazines. Tina and her husband John have 3 children and reside in Westport, Connecticut.

  • Katherine Schelle

    Katherine Schelle

    Interior Design Associate

    Katherine Schelle is involved in the design, production and administration of residential interior projects. 

    She attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Music.  Katherine then worked as an architectural project manager and assistant interior designer at a firm in New Haven, during which time she was also earning her Professional Interior Design Certificate from Fairfield University. 

    Utilizing her broad education, she approaches each project as an opportunity to create a functional environment catered to a family’s lifestyle.  Katherine has developed a fondness for exploring other cultures and photographing architectural and interior design elements from her travels to distant locations such as Paris, London and Florence.  

  • Alexandra Varvoglis

    Alexandra Varvoglis

    Interior Design Associate

    Alexandra Varvoglis is responsible for the design, production, and administration of several residential projects. 

    She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.  During her studies, she had the unique opportunity to travel to Italy, England, and France to study textile factories and architecture, and interned at DAS Architects in Philadelphia.  Alexandra then returned to her home state of Connecticut to accept a position at MPF Interiors.  Her inspiration in becoming an interior decorator was to follow in her mother’s creative footsteps.  

  • Victoria Sirchia

    Victoria Sirchia

    Interior Design Associate

    Victoria earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2012. While attending Becker College, she spent the summer in Georgia, interning at a residential design firm. She felt inspired being surrounded by the old architecture and charming southern style. Victoria was also a student athlete on the field hockey team all four years of college, and earned the "Female Student Athlete of the Year Award."

    Prior to joining the firm, Victoria worked as a designer at a design and staging firm in Hudson, MA.  More recently, Victoria worked as a Designer at a high-end residential design firm in Boston, MA, and had the opportunity to work on many residential projects across New England and Florida.

    In her free time, Victoria loves to spend time with her family, playing the occasional pick up game of field hockey, and being active with her Shar Pei/Beagle mix Jebby.

  • Madelynn Hopkins

    Madelynn Hopkins

    Interior Design Associate

    Madelynn attended the University of Bridgeport graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design. During her years at the University of Bridgeport Madelynn was ASID UB chapter president for two years then moved onto student representative to the Connecticut ASID board. While spending summers in Oregon, she interned for Harry & David in their photo studio assisting the photographer, food stylist, and art director. During her time at the photo studio she was inspired by the process of styling for the shoots. The light, texture, color, depth she takes it all into her designs in a 3D perspective. Madelynn is excited explore more of the east coast and bring her west coast style to this side of the country.

    Bookkeeping

    Shamese attended Sacred Heart University and graduated with a Bechalor of Science in Accounting. After working for a local Fairfield Country construction management firm for 5 years, Shamese became a Certified Bookkeeper through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). In 2011, she opened her own bookkeeping and payroll services business with a focus on the creative industry. 

    Shamese is a foodie who enjoys making notepads and practicing yoga.

    Media Coordinator

    Joining Mark Finlay Architects in the fall of 2017, Alex is native to upstate New York where she graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. Immediately following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles where she was right hand to Christine London, a high-end Landscape Designer in Beverly Hills. Her passion for architecture and design has shaped the make-up of her work experience, ranging from a luxury furniture showroom to real estate here in Fairfield. Moving back east to be closer to family, she now lives in Black Rock, Connecticut.

    Jill Castrignano

    Executive Office Manager

    A native New Yorker, Jill Castrignano earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Albany. Driven by fast paced environments and inspired by creative culture, Jill moved to Manhattan after graduating to pursue a career in Business Development and Showroom Management for a contemporary menswear clothing line. Representing the brand both nationally and abroad in Japan and China, Jill was vital to the success of the company for over eight years. Now residing in Fairfield with her husband and daughter, Jill happily joined the MPF team in 2017 where she continues to be inspired every day.

  • Kathryn Maccarone

    Kathryn Maccarone

    Executive Assistant

    Kathryn Maccarone is a Connecticut native, born and raised in Fairfield County. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a Minor in Business Management from Fairfield University. She started her professional career working in the Finance department at Fairfield University, before transitioning into a managerial position for a start-up company. She then joined Mark P. Finlay Architects in the Winter of 2017.
